Singapore Airlines unveiled new First Class and Business Class products on November 6, 2026, in a premium-cabin overhaul that SamChui.com and Aviation A2Z describe as an investment of approximately S$2 billion or more.

The programme covers 41 retrofitted Airbus A350-900 long-haul and ultra-long-range aircraft, including new Business Class seats. First Class will be added to the seven A350-900ULR aircraft, extending the carrier’s First Class offering to that part of its fleet.

The redesigned First Class product is built around greater privacy and flexibility. Its centre seats can be separated by a retractable divider or combined into a shared space, including a double bed, while the individual seats convert into full-flat beds.

Business Class will also receive a new design across the A350-900 long-haul and ultra-long-range aircraft and the Boeing 777-9. The new product includes privacy doors, full-flat beds and selected centre seats that can be configured as companion beds.

The new cabins are scheduled to enter service progressively from the second half of 2027. The timing is closely linked to the aircraft programme: One Mile at a Time reports that Singapore Airlines has 31 Boeing 777-9 aircraft on order and that deliveries are expected no earlier than late 2027. The publication says those aircraft will arrive with the new cabins.

The available reports establish the broad fleet scope and rollout window, but they do not specify which routes will receive the upgraded cabins first. They also do not identify where the unveiling took place, and no official Singapore Airlines statement is included among the supplied sources.
